Tank Farm Operations Supervisor (AGO Storage and Handling) at Ataogo Nigeria Limited

Job Role

• Ataogo Nigeria Limited is seeking a Tank Farm Operations Supervisorto ensure safe and efficient storage of Automotive Gas Oil (AGO) at our terminal. 
• The successful candidate will implement zero-tolerance safety protocolswhile maintaining 99.9% product integrity across 25,000MT storage capacity.

Core Responsibilities
Storage Operations Management:

• Oversee daily tank farm activities:
  • Receipt from marine/road transporters
  • Storage temperature/pressure monitoring
  • Dispatch to bunker vessels
• Maintain <0.1% evaporation losses
• Implement first-in-first-out (FIFO) inventory system

Safety & Compliance:

• Enforce HSE regulations for:
  • Hot work permits
  • Tank entry procedures
  • Emergency shutdown systems
• Conduct weekly safety drills:
  • Fire response
  • Spill containment
  • Vapor recovery

Equipment Maintenance:

• Supervise preventive maintenance of:
  • Floating roof tanks
  • Loading arms
  • Metering systems
• Ensure 100% calibration of all measurement devices

Nigerian Content Implementation:

• Maintain 80% Nigerian operations staff
• Implement NCDMB-approved training programs
• Document local contractor utilization

Reporting & Documentation:

• Generatedaily stock reconciliation reports
• Maintain NMDPR-required records:
  • Tank cleaning certificates
  • Product quality logs
  • Safety inspection reports

Qualifications & Competencies
Mandatory Requirements:

• Education: HND / BSc in Chemical/Petroleum Engineering
• Experience:
  • 5+ years in petroleum products storage
  • 2+ years in supervisory capacity
• Certifications:
• ISPON HSE Level 3
• DPR Storage Tank Operations Certification
