Social Media Ambassador at Nigeria Youth SDGs Network

Ambassador Responsibilities

• Content creation: Share engaging posts, stories, and reels about #ClimateActionForStrongerNaija and the work of youth-led civil society organisations.
• Collaborate with our Communications team to advocate for bold climate action with youth at the forefront.
• Share your personal story on why climate action matters to you and how it aligns with the project’s mission.
• Highlight the impactful work of youth organisations involved in the project.
• Build a community of climate advocates by actively engaging with followers and responding to comments.
• Amplify posts from the Network of Youth for Sustainable Initiative through engagements and comments.
• Tag influential individuals and organisations to see the project.
• Encourage your followers to get involved by downloading our learning resource on Youth and the NDCs and engaging in online discussions.

Eligibility Criteria

• Active on at least three social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and TikTok).
• A minimum of 1,000 followers on each platform for broad outreach and effective amplification.
• Skilled in content creation, with video editing experience as a strong advantage.
• Commitment to Youth Development and Climate Action
• Passionate about social justice, community resilience, and environmental sustainability.
• Willing to understand NGYouthSDGs’ theory of change and support the #ClimateActionForStrongerNaija project.
• Professionalism and Responsibility
• Ability to adhere to brand guidelines, maintain a consistent posting schedule, and engage actively with followers.
• Responsive to feedback and open to collaboration with the NGYouthSDGs Communications team.
