Communication Officer at One Health Resilience Initiative

Manages internal and external communications, creates compelling content for digital and print platforms, and ensures consistent organizational branding across all channels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement OHRI\'s Communication Strategy and Social Media Plan.
• Write press releases, newsletters, blog posts, success stories, and donor reports.
• Design graphics, infographics, flyers, and presentations using Canva, Adobe, or similar tools.
• Manage OHRI\'s website (https://1hri.org), Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, and Instagram accounts.
• Document program activities through photography and videography during field visits.
• Support proposal development by providing communication inputs and visual materials.
• Monitor media coverage and public perception of OHRI and prepare media monitoring reports.

Specific Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related creative field.
• 1–3 years of experience in communications, digital marketing, or media production.
• Proficiency in graphic design (Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator) and video editing (CapCut, Premiere).
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills in English.
• Experience managing social media accounts for organizations or brands.
• Access to a smartphone or camera with good photo/video quality.
• Commitment of 3–6 months minimum.
