Education Volunteers deliver menstrual health education across schools and communities.
This role involves engaging with children, adolescents, and parents to share accurate information, challenge period stigma and promote menstrual equity. They:
Teach menstrual health education in an underserved school.
Facilitate menstrual health education sessions in schools and communities, including getting program approvals from education boards and communities.
Use engaging and age-appropriate materials to teach menstrual health topics to parents, young boys, and young girls.
Address myths, misconceptions, and stigma surrounding menstruation.
Assist in distributing menstrual products and educational materials.
Support monitoring and evaluation by gathering feedback from participants through surveys, interviews and questionnaires.
Participate in fundraising efforts every quarter by reaching out to friends and family to donate towards the Foundation’s initiatives.
Who Can Apply
Individuals who are passionate about menstrual health, education, and equity;
Confident communicators comfortable engaging children, adolescents, and parents;
Reliable and able to meet their location’s time commitments;
Fluent in English; with facilitation or teaching experience as an advantage but not a requirement.
