    Graphics and Data Volunteer

    Description

    • Whether your interest is in education, programmes, or media, we would love to have you on our team.

    Role Overview

    • The Graphics and Data Volunteer supports our communications and program documentation work.
    • The volunteer will interpret program data and survey findings and translate them into clear, visually engaging materials for internal and external audiences.

    Responsibilities

    • Design slides and presentations for team meetings and external stakeholder engagements
    • Interpret and analyse pre- and post-program survey data to identify key findings and trends
    • Create infographics and data visuals that communicate survey findings in a clear and accessible way
    • Support the design and layout of The EME Foundation's annual impact report.

    Skills and Requirements

    • Proficiency in design tools (e.g.  Canva, PowerPoint, Adobe Illustrator, or similar design tools)
    • Ability to interpret data and present statistics in a clear, accessible format
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet agreed timeline
    • Interest in menstrual health, gender equity, or public health is an advantage.

    Volunteer Videographer

    Programmes Volunteer

    Key Responsibilities

    • Programmes Volunteers support the planning and execution of our initiatives, ensuring smooth coordination of workshops, outreach events, and advocacy campaigns.
    • They also assist with logistics, including picking up and delivering materials for programme activities.
    • Conduct surveys, including administering questionnaires, in schools and communities for programme evaluation.
    • Assist with the planning, logistics, and implementation of programmes.
    • Support event coordination, volunteer management, and documentation.
    • Contribute to community engagement and partnership-building efforts.
    • Pick up and deliver materials for workshops, outreach events, and distributions.
    • Participate in fundraising efforts to support the Foundation’s initiatives.

    Who Can Apply

    • Individuals with strong organisational and problem-solving skills;
    • Those interested in programme coordination, event planning, and advocacy; and those comfortable handling logistics.
    • Experience in community engagement, project management, or administrative tasks is welcome but not required.

    Education Volunteeer

    Key Responsibilities

    • Education Volunteers deliver menstrual health education across schools and communities.
    • This role involves engaging with children, adolescents, and parents to share accurate information, challenge period stigma and promote menstrual equity. They:
      • Teach menstrual health education in an underserved school. 
      • Facilitate menstrual health education sessions in schools and communities, including getting program approvals from education boards and communities.
      • Use engaging and age-appropriate materials to teach menstrual health topics to parents, young boys, and young girls.
      • Address myths, misconceptions, and stigma surrounding menstruation.
      • Assist in distributing menstrual products and educational materials.
      • Support monitoring and evaluation by gathering feedback from participants through surveys, interviews and questionnaires.
      • Participate in fundraising efforts every quarter by reaching out to friends and family to donate towards the Foundation’s initiatives.

    Who Can Apply

    • Individuals who are passionate about menstrual health, education, and equity;
    • Confident communicators comfortable engaging children, adolescents, and parents;
    • Reliable and able to meet their location’s time commitments;
    • Fluent in English; with facilitation or teaching experience as an advantage but not a requirement.
