    Senior Associate, People & Culture

    • The Senior Associate, People & Culture, will lead the development and execution of Dataleum’s people strategy while fostering a strong organizational culture and impactful employee experience across all units. This role oversees talent acquisition, performance management, engagement, learning and development, compliance, and organizational development, as well as administrative operations, including facilities management and overall office experience. By partnering closely with leadership and aligning HR and administrative initiatives with business objectives, you will drive a high-performing, values-driven workforce that supports Dataleum’s global growth.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Strategic Leadership & HR Governance

    • Develop and lead the People & Culture strategy in alignment with Dataleum’s corporate objectives and global expansion goals.
    • Oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of HR policies, SOPs, and processes.
    • Provide guidance to leadership on workforce planning, organizational design, succession planning, and change management.
    • Provide strong leadership to the People and Culture team while ensuring strategic leadership and effective communication between management, team leads, and the wider organization.

    Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

    • Lead end-to-end recruitment strategies to attract top talent across all units, including facilitators.
    • Drive innovative sourcing, employer branding initiatives, and recruitment analytics to improve talent pipelines.
    • Ensure effective onboarding and integration of new hires.

    Performance Management & Employee Development

    • Oversee the performance review cycle, KPIs, OKRs, and continuous feedback systems.
    • Ensure skill development programs meet organizational needs.
    • Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and growth.

    Employee Engagement & Culture Building

    • Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performance culture aligned with Dataleum’s values.
    • Lead employee engagement initiatives including wellness programs, recognition systems, surveys (e.g., eNPS), and cultural events.

    Compensation, Benefits & Compliance

    • Oversee payroll processes, benefits administration, and compensation frameworks.
    • Ensure HR compliance with labor laws and regulatory standards.

    HR Analytics & Reporting

    • Use HR data and insights to drive decisions on performance, engagement, retention, and workforce trends.
    • Prepare periodic reports for leadership on key HR metrics and recommendations.

    Administration

    • Oversee administrative operations to ensure a safe, functional, and efficient workplace.
    • Oversee facility maintenance, office maintenance, vendor relations, and supplies.

    Qualifications:

    • BSc / HND in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
    • At least 4-5 years of experience.
    • Professional HR certifications (CIPM, SHRM, CIPD, etc.) preferred.
    • Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Demonstrated experience in HR operations, talent management, and organizational development.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
    • Strong understanding of Nigerian labor laws
    • Proficiency with HRIS tools and Google Workspace/Microsoft Office.
    • Strong data analysis skills.
    • High emotional intelligence, integrity, and a people-first mindset.
