Senior Accountant at La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort

Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Senior Accountant to manage the financial operations at La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort. 
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing recommendations to enhance financial performance. 
• This role will work closely with senior management to support operational and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily accounting operations, including financial transactions, reports, and records.
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
• Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts, bank statements, and balance sheets.
• Manage and supervise the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and timely payment.
• Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations for cost-saving measures and revenue maximization.
• Coordinate and ensure timely preparation of tax filings and statutory reports.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure proper documentation and compliance with financial regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of financial data.
• Support senior management with financial forecasting and budgeting.
• Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, providing leadership and development opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
• Professional certification (ACCA, ICAN, CPA) is required.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, etc.) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus.
