Job Summary

• We are seeking qualified and experienced Mathematics and Physics teachers for our senior secondary school classes.
• The successful candidates will have a passion for teaching and mentoring young adults and a deep understanding of the Nigerian curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Develop and teach a comprehensive Mathematics or Physics curriculum to senior secondary school students.
• Establish a supportive and engaging classroom environment that encourages student participation and learning
• Evaluate students’ performance by giving class work, homework and exam.
• Grade students work
• Assist students with problem solving skills
• Provide regular assessments and feedback to students on their progress
• Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to support student growth and development
• Engage in ongoing professional development and stay up-to-date with the latest teaching practices and strategies

Requirements

• A good Bachelor's degree in the relevant field of study (Mathematics or Physics)
• A degree in Education
• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in a reputable school
• Ability to effectively teach and engage students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff.
• Must Reside at Ejigbo and environs
• Ability to interpret the National Curriculum of Nigeria and England
• Computer literacy are added advantage

Other Requirements:

• Applicants should be versed in IT use and be amenable to blended instruction.
• Registration with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) is an added advantage.

SALARY: 70,000 - 90,000
