Sales Merchandiser at Graceco Limited

Job Description

• We are sourcing for competent and result-driven sales merchandisers to cover Alimosho, Idimu, Ikotun and Igando areas of Lagos.
• The role of the Merchandiser is to ensure that the shelves of the retail stores are stocked with products and displaythem accordingly for customers.
• Merchandisers are responsible for tracking the product inventory levels, reporting any issues of expiry or shortages to management.
• Collaborate with stores account officer/contact person to raise new order and follow up with payments.
• Monitor Sales Activities of all products during visitation to a store and the stock level should be checked.
• Analyze sales figures, customers reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan product ranges/stock
• Maximize customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately on the shelves and dump bins.
• Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, clear outs of competitors.
• Build constructive customer relationships and team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals.
• Familiarity with operations of key stores like Justrite, JENDOL, Bazaar, Twins Faja, etc
• Remain up to date with company’s best practices.

Qualifications

• HND/ BSC in Business Management, Marketing and related fields
• 1-2 years experience
• Must understand basic Microsoft skills including Excel.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
