Production Manager (Plastics) at Dozzy Group

Key Responsibilities: 

1. Achieveset monthly production target, optimize machine output, maintain equipment utilization, and eliminate production waste
2. Lead and supervise production teams ensuringshift coverage, discipline, and productivity improvement through structured performance management.
3. Implement lean manufacturing practices to reduce downtime and improve overall production efficiency.
4. Manage energy consumption and production costs without compromising output or quality.
5. MaintainPPE compliance, achieve zero fatalities, and sustain record safety incident annually while ensuring strict adherence to GMP and workplace safety standards.
6. Ensureaccurate production, downtime, and material usage reports, submitted daily/weekly/monthly to Management within required timelines. 
7. Driveprocess optimization initiatives that deliver minimum 10% improvements in productivity, quality, or cost efficiency annually.
8. Coordinate with engineering/maintenance teams to achieve ≥95% machine availability and ensure timely preventive maintenance execution.
9. Maintainoptimal raw material availability (≥30 days stock level)while preventing stock-outs and limiting excess inventory to ≤10% variance. 
10. Perform additional operational assignments as directed by management while ensuring full compliance with company policies and manufacturing standards.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of B.Sc. or HND in Mechanical/Chemical/Production Engineering or other relevant discipline from a recognized institution.
2. Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a well-structured manufacturing industry in similar capacity.
3. Strong knowledge of Blow and Injection machines, and molds.
4. Familiarity with industry materials (e.g. HDPE), codes, standards (eg: ISO), utilities and machinery/equipment first aid (e.g.: Compressors, Chillers, etc.) 
5. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve common Machinery and equipment errors, to ensure a hitch free production operations.
6. Proficiency in engineering software and maintenance management systems is an advantage.
7. COREN registration or membership of relevant professional bodies is desirable.
8. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
