Sales Executive at West Africa Vocational Education (WAVE)

Job Overview:

• As a Sales Executive for our B2B startup building innovative business management software, you will be responsible for identifying potential customers and selling our software to them.
• Your role will involve actively reaching out to potential clients, creating relationships, and closing deals to drive revenue growth.
• You will need to have strong interpersonal skills, a thorough understanding of our product and the restaurant industry, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify potential clients and conduct outreach to establish relationships and sell our solution
• Conduct product demos to potential clients to showcase the benefits and features of our software
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our product, the restaurant industry, and our target market
• Oversee the onboarding of new customers, collaborating with them to get the required information such as inventory lists, recipes and menu items into our product
• Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
• Manage and maintain accurate records of sales activities in our CRM system
• Attend industry events and conferences to stay up to date with industry trends and to network with potential clients

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in B2B sales, ideally in the restaurant or hospitality industry
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently, manage a sales pipeline and meet targets
• Comfortable with technology and software demos
• Self-motivated, proactive and results-driven
• Familiarity with CRM software and sales processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or a related field
• Experience with sales in the restaurant or hospitality industry is highly desirable
• Familiarity with restaurant management systems or software is a plus
