    Revenue Assurance Lead

    Job Responsibilities

    • Perform company accounting duties and determine revenue and expenditure.
    • Ensure no revenue loss leakage - all billed goods & services are fully settled.
    • Be the first point of contact for payment aggregators from whom we collect for invoiced goods to ensure amounts paid for goods and services delivered by the Company are duly received and credited to the Company’s bank accounts.
    • Work with operations / dispatch to resolve all issues that could occasion revenue loss / leakage e.g payment reversals / recalls for invoiced and dispatched goods.
    • Work with account team to perform financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities.
    • Determine monthly revenue forecast and perform monthly revenue analysis.
    • Keep up to date on Consumer and Enterprise commercial propositions and enhancements in technical capabilities, to: identify potential risk areas on revenue / margin, define and implement new controls and analysis on new Offers and Capabilities, creating queries, reports and dashboards.
    • Run analysis on offers covering all segments/categories/SKUs ,identifying spike in the patterns, trend not in line with business expectation, potentially risky scenarios and customers affected by potential issues with the ultimate scope of detecting margin leakages. In the analysis the candidate will leverage on existing systems / reports / set of data, but he/she will be required to create new ad hoc reports / queries / dashboards.
    • Perform recurring controls to verify the completeness and correctness of the Billing on a sample of customers, select the sample to assure a proper coverage, manage the communication and follow ups of the potential issues identified.
    • Partnering with Finance, Marketing, IT and Operations to follow up and assess revenue impact analysis
    • Review and interpret contracts for proper billing terms and assist in management aspects of the revenue process.
    • Manage the Margin assurance initiative per category in the Business , both for administrative processes and activity management, ensuring all activities are managed efficiently, effectively, and timely
    • Manage Knowledge transfer in case of changes in team members or re-allocation of activities to ensure an appropriate level of service and spread competencies in the team

    Requirements Special Skills And Qualifications

    • Bachelor degree in accounting with experience in revenue recognition is a plus.
    • Certified Accountant of Nigeria and a member of ICAN.
    • Must possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in finance with at least 2 years in a revenue accounting role.
    • Punctual, reliable and must have strong communication skill.
    • In-depth understanding of relevant IFRS standards.
    • Knowledge about MS office, excel-Advance excel a plus.
    • Able to work in a team and produce quality output under tight deadlines.
    • Strong verbal and oral communication skills.
    • Self-motivated and strong analytical skills.
    • Attention to detail, prioritization skill and time management.
    • Quick learner with a positive attitude.
    • Must be highly organized and able to deal with a high volume of data
    • Able to work proactively and independently with a team in a fast-paced environment.
    • Revenue Assurance platforms / solutions knowledge (preferred)
    • Strong skills in Data Analysis and drawing insights
    • Experience in creation of Reports and Dashboard
