Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging science lessons aligned to the national curriculum (JSS & SSS levels)
• Conduct practical laboratory sessions and ensure safe use of equipment
• Prepare students for WAEC, NECO, and other external examinations
• Assess, record, and report on student progress regularly
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching resources
• Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development programmes
• Maintain a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment

Qualifications & Requirements

• B.Sc. Ed., B.Ed., or B.Sc. + PGDE in a science discipline (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics)
• Valid teaching license / Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certificate
• Minimum of 2 years' teaching experience at secondary school level
• Strong knowledge of WAEC/NECO syllabi and examination standards
• Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in using digital tools and e-learning platforms is an advantage
