    Recruitment and Sourcing Specialist

    Description and Objectives

    • The Recruitment & Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for sourcing, screening and selecting the right candidates in alignment with our client’s staffing needs.
    • You will work closely with organizations to understand staffing needs and ensure a great candidate experience.

    Responsibilities
    Candidate Sourcing:

    • Employ diverse search methods using job board platforms to cultivate a robust candidate pipeline.
    • Develop sustainable candidate acquisition strategies
    • Contacting potential talents and build relationships with constant communication on job vacancies.
    • Use social media platforms, LinkedIn Boolean techniques, referrals, job fairs to connect with talents and build a robust pipeline.
    • Recommend strategies to improve employer brand in order to attract talents

    Full Cycle Recruitment:

    • Collaborate with hiring teams to understand their global staffing requirements and formulate strategic recruitment plans.
    • Liaise with clients to understand and properly articulate their hiring & specific role requirements while maintaining positive long-term client relationships.
    • Develop job descriptions and document specifications in accordance to client’s needs.
    • Assess resumes, applications, and conduct initial phone screenings
    • Coordinate and oversee the interview and selection process
    • Coordinate and administer internal assessments and successive interviews
    • Engage with Talent Lab’s Talent community and maintain a pipeline of interested candidates.
    • Keep abreast of talent attraction trends, job market conditions and updated laws regarding employment practices.
    • Initiate and complete all pre-employment requirements and onboarding.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or related field, Master’s degree is an added advantage.
    • 3-5 years’ experience with strategic sourcing, outreach, and selection using a variety of approaches (e.g LinkedIn recruiting, social media e.t.c).
    • Proven experience in recruiting diverse roles across multiple industries.
    • Certification in Human resources (SPHRI, CIPM, CIPD is an added advantage).
    • Ability to work in a quickly changing environment, possess strong analytic/assessment/organizational skills and be able to prioritize multiple responsibilities and deadlines with minimal supervision
    • Exceptional people skills and the ability to develop trusting and productive relationships with geographically diverse colleagues.
    • Strong analytical and computer skills and working knowledge of HRMS systems.
    • Proven experience in NGO/development end-to-end recruitment space is an added advantage.

    Required Competencies:

    • Demonstrated ability to use technology for all HR activities.
    • Proficiency in sourcing and identifying clients to fulfill their talent requirements.
    • Proficient in sourcing and engaging professionals effectively.
    • Ability to conduct effective interviews and assess candidate qualifications & Skill in sourcing and attracting top talent.
    • Understanding of HR laws, regulations, and compliance and knowledge of HR best practices and industry trends.
    • A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on HR trends and identifying
    • and addressing personal development needs.
    • Awareness of industry trends, salary benchmarks, and competitive hiring landscapes in the developmental industry.
    • Knowledge of relevant labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance in the hiring process.
