Job Summary

• Ensuring that Ariah Gray Design offers services that are in line with brands visual standard. Project Operations Manager coordinates all phases of interior building work including planning, designing and overseeing the execution; from concept to completion.
• Coordinates All phases of Exterior building work; Property Development.
• Ensuring client’s needs and satisfaction are met by producing functional and aesthetically pleasing designs.

Job Description

• Articulates clients briefs and development of conceptual designs
• Knowledge and ability to interpret full set of working drawings
• Development of designs (floor plans, elevations etc) using free hand sketch
• Development of 2D designs (floor plans, elevations etc) using AutoCAD
• Knowledge of building materials and building construction
• Knowledge of Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
• Interior design or Interior Architecture or Architecture industry knowledge
• Ensure accuracy of working drawings and specifications
• Creating timelines and schedules for projects
• Site measurements
• Logical problem solving, and understanding technical aspects in buildings
• Supervision of project team and site checks to monitor progress and quality standards
• Planning, organization, co-ordination and liaising with necessary contractors and construction artisans (Operations)
• Ensuring project runs smoothly and completed on time and within budget
• Estimation of costs
• Preparation of Budgets
• Preparation of Reports
• Wide network and ability to Source finishes, fittings, contractors and artisans
• Procurement and logistics
• Determine materials, contractors, artisans and man power needed
• Part of the Facility Management Team for Leasing and short stay properties
• General Administrative support across
• Attention to detail is paramount

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree / HND Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Building Construction, Construction Management, Interior Architecture, Architecture or related field

Experience

• Minimum 3 years’ work experience on a building construction project is important
• Supervision and renovation experience are important
• Excellent knowledge of sourcing, building materials, finishes and fittings

 Skills

• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Familiarity with construction/project management software
• Development of 2D designs (floor plans, elevations etc) using AutoCAD
• Development of 3D designs using Sketch Up, 3Ds Max and Plug ins or similar/required Softwares to create Photo realistic visuals of designs (3D Visuals) is a BONUS

Age

• Max - 40 years
