Project Supervisor (Engineering / Construction) at PDO Incorporated

Job Summary

We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented Project Supervisor to oversee and coordinate building and construction projects. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in engineering or construction-related fields and be capable of interpreting technical drawings, supervising site operations, and ensuring projects are executed to standard, on schedule, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate building and construction projects from start to finish.
• Interpret and work with architectural drawings, structural drawings, and project specifications.
• Monitor work progress on site and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Track project timelines, budgets, and resource utilization.
• Prepare progress reports and provide updates to management.
• Ensure compliance with building regulations and project requirements.
• Resolve technical issues that arise on site.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of HND, BSc, or BEng in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Building Technology, or any related discipline.
• Minimum of 2–5 years relevant work experience in construction, project supervision, or site engineering.
• Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Strong supervisory and communication skills.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making ability.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Must be willing to relocate and be available for immediate resumption.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience in building projects or construction management.
• Knowledge of site safety procedures and quality control.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet project deadlines.
