The Managing Director (MD) will provide overall strategic leadership and executive direction to the Bank, ensuring sustainable growth, profitability, regulatory compliance, and sound risk management while safeguarding shareholder value and strengthening the Bank’s position within the mortgage and housing finance sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the rapid expansion of the Bank’s balance sheet through aggressive organic growth and strategic market positioning. 
• Lead the strategic and regulatory transition from a mortgage bank to a regional commercial bank. 
• Drive business growth through mortgage portfolio expansion, partnerships, and market positioning.
• Ensure strong corporate governance, ethical standards, and compliance with CBN, NDIC, FMBN, AML/CFT and related regulations.
• Spearhead capital-raising initiatives to attract fresh investment and ensure long-term scaling. 
• Lead digital transformation, operational efficiency, and service excellence initiatives.
• Build and lead a high-performing executive management team and succession pipeline.
• Represent the Bank with regulators, shareholders, investors, and key housing-sector stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
• Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) highly desirable.
• Relevant professional membership (CIBN, ICAN/ANAN; CFA added advantage).
• Minimum 15–20 years’ banking experience, with 5–10 years in senior executive management, preferably within mortgage or commercial banking.
• Professional presence and credibility with regulators and stakeholders
