Deposit Mobilization Agent at Confidence Microfinance Bank

Confidence bank is currently hiring Deposit Mobilization Agent who can drive target sales and tasked with growing the bank's liability base. They acquire new retail and SME depositors, manage existing client relationships, and encourage a savings culture to provide liquidity for micro-loans. 

You will play a key part in expanding our deposit base through client acquisition, relationship management, and strategic deposit initiatives. This role is ideal for someone with a strong financial services background and a track record in client relationship management or deposit mobilization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify and onboard new retail clients, MSMEs, cooperatives, and high-net-worth individuals through field visits and networking. 
• Market and sell savings accounts, current accounts, and fixed/term deposits to meet strict monthly targets. 
• Serve as the primary point of contact for depositors and ensure funds are retained at maturity. 
• Educate unbanked or underbanked individuals on the benefits and security of formal micro-banking. 
• Adhere strictly to Know Your Customer (KYC) regulatory guidelines during onboarding
• Track leads, conversion rates, and deposit volumes, providing daily or weekly sales reports to Upline Manager. 

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Minimum of HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related fields.
• 1–3 years of proven marketing, sales, or relationship management experience in a microfinance bank, fintech, or commercial banking environment.
• Exceptional communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
• Strong knowledge of the local SME ecosystem or existing ties with local trade associations and cooperatives.
