    Linen Supervisor

    Job Summary

    • We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Linen Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of a linen room and laundry department, ensuring the availability of clean linens and uniforms, managing inventory, and supervising staff.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Supervising Staff: schedule, and manage linen room or laundry staff, ensuring proper handling, cleaning, and storage of linens and uniforms.
    • Inventory Management: maintain accurate records of linen and uniform inventories, track usage, monitor stock levels, and order supplies as needed.
    • Quality Control: inspect linens and uniforms for damage, stains, or wear, ensuring they meet established standards for cleanliness and presentation.
    • Coordination: work with other departments, such as housekeeping and food and beverage, to fulfill linen and uniform requests and address any issues or special needs.
    • Operational Efficiency: ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the linen room or laundry, including proper handling of soiled linens, efficient cleaning processes, and adherence to health and safety regulations.
    • Maintaining Cleanliness and Organization: maintain a clean and organized linen room, ensuring proper storage and handling of linens and uniforms.
    • Reporting and Record Keeping: prepare reports on laundry operations, productivity, and inventory, and maintain records of linen usage, orders, and repairs.

    Additional Responsibilities:

    • Laundry Equipment Maintenance: coordinating with maintenance staff for repairs.
    • Customer Service: handle customer service issues related to linen or uniform availability or quality.

    Requirements

    • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification is a plus
    • Proven experience as Linen Supervision
    • Strong leadership and team management skills
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Good communication and interpersonal abilities
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
    • Knowledge of laundry equipment and cleaning chemicals
    • Familiarity with health and safety standards
    • Problem-solving and organizational skills
    • Physical stamina to stand and move for extended periods
