Job Summary

• Our client, a fast-growing Energy Solutions Company in Warri, is seeking an experienced and strategic Procurement Manager to lead sourcing, vendor management, and cost optimization across operations.
• This role is critical to ensuring timely, cost-effective, and compliant procurement that supports business continuity and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective procurement strategies aligned with business goals
• Source, negotiate, and manage suppliers and contractors to ensure value for money
• Oversee purchasing of equipment, materials, and services for energy projects
• Ensure compliance with company policies, budgets, and regulatory standards
• Monitor market trends, manage risks, and drive cost efficiencies
• Prepare procurement reports, forecasts, and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant procurement experience, preferably in energy, oil & gas, or engineering-related sectors
• Professional procurement certifications (e.g., CIPS, CIPSMN or equivalent) are required
• Master’s degree in a related field or an engineering background is a strong advantage
• Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commercial awareness.
