    Junior Business Development Executive

    Job Summary

    • The Junior Business Development Executive is responsible for supporting the company’s revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and contributing to the achievement of sales targets. The role requires proactive prospecting, effective client engagement, and the ability to support the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure and post-sales relationship management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication, commercial awareness, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced business environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation activities.
    • Evaluate prospective clients’ needs and position the company’s products/services as suitable solutions.
    • Support the development and execution of sales strategies to achieve assigned revenue and growth targets.
    • Prepare, schedule, and deliver professional presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
    • Manage and support the end-to-end sales cycle, including prospecting, proposal preparation, negotiation, and deal closure.
    • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients by providing timely support, information, and guidance.
    • Follow up on leads and inquiries promptly to convert prospects into active business partnerships.
    • Provide professional after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and repeat business.
    • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new opportunities for growth and product improvement.
    • Participate in exhibitions, conferences, and networking events on behalf of the company to promote brand visibility and generate leads.
    • Handle client complaints or objections in a professional manner and escalate complex issues when necessary.
    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline updates in the company’s CRM system.
    • Prepare periodic reports on sales performance, market feedback, and client engagement activities.
    • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, and customer support) to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
    • Develop and implement detailed business plans aligned with departmental goals and performance quotas.

    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

    • Achievement of assigned sales and revenue targets.
    • Number and quality of new leads generated and converted.
    • Client acquisition and retention rates.
    • Timeliness and quality of sales reports and documentation.
    • Customer satisfaction and feedback ratings.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
    • 1–2 years’ experience in sales, marketing, or business development (internship experience may be considered).
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and familiarity with CRM systems is an added advantage.
