    Human Resources Officer

    Job Summary

    • PC Place Nigeria is seeking a passionate and organized Human Resources Officer to support our growing team.
    • The ideal candidate will oversee core HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, onboarding, performance management, and compliance.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Coordinate recruitment processes: job postings, shortlisting, interviewing, and onboarding.
    • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
    • Manage attendance, leave tracking, and performance appraisal schedules.
    • Serve as the point of contact for employee relations, grievances, and conflict resolution.
    • Ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws and statutory obligations (NSITF, PENCOM, ITF, etc.).
    • Support HR policy development and implementation.
    • Organize employee training and team engagement initiatives.
    • Process monthly payroll inputs in collaboration with Finance.
    • Ensure timely documentation of HR reports and internal memos.
    • Foster a positive workplace culture and promote HR best practices.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of a B.Sc Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Admin, or related fields
    • At least 5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a structured organization
    • Membership or certification from CIPM or HR-related body is an advantage.

    Skills:

    • Strong understanding of HR best practices and Nigerian labor laws
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel & Word)
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
