    HR Manager

    Job description

    • The HR Manager at Frutta will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the company's goals.
    • This role involves overseeing recruitment, performance management, employee relations, training and development, and ensuring compliance with labor laws.
    • The HR Manager will foster a positive workplace culture that supports growth and productivity.

    ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Employee Relations:

    • Foster a positive and engaging work environment.
    • Address employee grievances promptly and effectively.
    • Implement employee engagement programs and initiatives.

    Performance Management:

    • Oversee performance appraisal systems to drive high performance.
    • Set KPIs and monitor employee progress.
    • Provide guidance to managers on performance improvement plans.

    Training & Development:

    • Identify training needs in the plant and organize relevant training programs.
    • Facilitate career development and succession planning.

    Compliance & Policy Management:

    • Ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws and company policies.
    • Develop, review, and enforce HR policies and procedures.

    Compensation & Benefits:

    • Manage payroll, benefits, and compensation structures.
    • Conduct salary reviews and market benchmarking.

    HR Reporting & Analytics:

    • Maintain HR metrics and provide reports on HR activities.
    • Use data to drive decision-making and improve HR processes.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM) is an advantage.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management, preferably in the FMCG or manufacturing industry.
    • In-depth knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.

    Skills and Competencies:

    • Strong leadership and people management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
    • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
