    Tax Associate

    Role Overview

    • We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically sound Tax Associate to support tax compliance, advisory, and reporting functions for a growing client portfolio.
    • The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience within an audit, tax consulting, or accounting firm environment and demonstrate strong working knowledge of Nigerian tax regulations and statutory filings.
    • This role requires a professional who can manage multiple tax engagements, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide practical tax solutions to clients.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare and file accurate and timely tax returns including Companies Income Tax (CIT), Value Added Tax (VAT), Withholding Tax (WHT), PAYE, and other statutory obligations.
    • Liaise with regulatory authorities such as FIRS, LIRS, and other relevant agencies on tax matters.
    • Review financial records and supporting schedules to ensure tax accuracy and compliance.
    • Support tax audits, investigations, and reconciliations.
    • Conduct tax research and provide recommendations on tax efficiency and compliance risks.
    • Assist in tax planning strategies and advisory services for clients.
    • Maintain organized tax documentation and ensure proper record management.
    • Monitor statutory deadlines and ensure timely filings to avoid penalties.
    • Provide professional responses to client inquiries and maintain strong client relationships.

    Required Experience & Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc) / HND in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
    • Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in an audit, accounting, or tax consulting firm (mandatory).
    • Practical experience handling Nigerian tax filings and compliance processes.
    • Working knowledge of FIRS and State Internal Revenue Service procedures.
    • ICAN / ACCA certification or ICAN-in-view is strongly preferred.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/tax software.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.

    Personal Driver

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking a reliable and professional Personal Driver to provide safe transportation exclusively for the employer. The ideal candidate must be punctual, trustworthy, discreet, and familiar with Lagos roads.
    • The role includes both short and long trips, including daily office commutes. Proximity to Olorunda Estate is essential. Only candidates living nearby should apply.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Safely drive the employer to/from the office, appointments, meetings, and errands
    • Maintain the vehicle in good condition (cleaning, fueling, minor maintenance checks)
    • Plan routes to ensure timely arrival and avoid traffic delays
    • Assist with loading/unloading items when required
    • Adhere strictly to traffic laws and safety regulations
    • Maintain confidentiality regarding the employer’s personal and professional matters
    • Keep accurate records of trips, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance
    • Work Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM; weekend work compensated as overtime.

    Requirements

    • Age between 38–45 years
    • Minimum SSCE / WAEC certificate
    • Valid Nigerian Driver’s License
    • 2 - 3 years of proven driving experience, preferably as a personal driver
    • Married candidate preferred
    • Punctual, responsible, and trustworthy
    • Good knowledge of Lagos roads and traffic patterns
    • Must know how to drive safely and avoid potholes
    • Must live near Olorunda Estate, Ketu Alapere.
