Head of Data Management at Union Bank of Nigeria

This is a full-time on-site role for a Head, Data Management & Platforms at Union Bank of Nigeria. The individual will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of data strategies and platforms. This includes ensuring data integrity, governance, and security, as well as leading a team of data professionals. Day-to-day tasks include designing and optimizing data architectures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, collaborating with various departments to leverage data for business insights, and developing data management plans to support organizational goals. This role is located in Nigeria.

Qualifications

• Experience in Data Management, Data Governance, and Data Quality
• Strong skills in Database Management, Data Warehousing, and Data Analytics
• Knowledge of Data Security, Backup, and Disaster Recovery
• Proficiency in Data Integration and ETL processes
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Advanced degree preferred
• Experience in the financial industry is a plus
