Job Summary

• The Head Baker is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the bakery, ensuring the production of high-quality baked goods, and managing the baking team. Key Responsibilities
Baking Operations:

• Develop and prepare recipes for bread, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods.
• Ensure all baked items meet established quality and presentation standards.
• Supervise and participate in baking activities, including kneading, shaping, and baking.
• Monitor the baking process to ensure proper temperature, texture, and flavor.

Team Management:

• Lead, train, and mentor a team of bakers and assistants.
• Schedule and assign duties to staff, ensuring efficient workflow.
• Provide ongoing feedback and evaluations to improve team performance.

Inventory and Supplies:

• Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
• Ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients to maintain freshness.
• Minimize waste and optimize ingredient use to control costs.

Health and Safety Compliance:

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Implement and enforce hygiene standards for all staff.
