    Growth & Market Expansion

    Job Summary

    • The Growth & Market Expansion Officer is responsible for driving Meristem’s expansion strategy across all geopolitical regions, accelerating revenue growth, identifying new business and market opportunities, strengthening competitive positioning, and deepening client acquisition across key segments. The role integrates business development, partnerships, analytics, product-market insights, and regional marketing to deliver sustainable growth for all Meristem business entities.

    Job Details

    • Lead the development and execution of the group-wide market expansion roadmap.
    • Identify new markets, sectors, and revenue pools across Nigeria’s four major regions.
    • Drive new market entries including establishment of regional hubs (South-South, South-East, South-West & North).
    • Provide regional customer and market insights to inform product development and service innovation.
    • Generate, qualify, and manage value-accretive business pipelines across regions.
    • Drive organic and inorganic growth through new products, partnerships, channels, and business models.
    • Deliver incremental revenue growth, regional AUM expansion, and new customer acquisition.
    • Lead regional cross-selling and upselling initiatives across all Meristem subsidiaries.
    • Work with Brands & Marketing to deliver localized marketing and brand visibility plans.
    • Drive thought leadership, market education initiatives, and region-specific events.
    • Lead sourcing, negotiation, and management of high-value partnerships across institutions, corporates, fintechs, cooperatives, public sector entities, and ecosystem enablers.
    • Drive synergy realization, embedded finance initiatives, and revenue-sharing opportunities.
    • Lead customer segmentation, profiling, and behavioural insights development.

    Requirements

    Qualification

    • Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent.

    Experience

    • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role in the financial services industry.
