Salary: ₦150,000 per month

Job Summary

Our client, a reputable construction company, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Site Inspector to oversee daily site activities, monitor material usage, and provide accurate progress updates. The ideal candidate should possess strong reporting skills, be proficient in Microsoft Excel, and be able to maintain accurate records of site operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor daily activities on the construction site to ensure work is progressing according to schedule.
• Keep accurate records of all materials delivered to and used on site.
• Track inventory and report any shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
• Prepare and submit daily site progress reports to management.
• Update and maintain material usage records using Microsoft Excel.
• Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient site operations.
• Report any site issues, delays, or observations that may affect project timelines.
• Ensure proper documentation of site activities and material movement.
• Support management with any other site inspection and reporting duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Building Technology, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in a construction or site supervision role is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
• Strong record-keeping, reporting, and organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
