Job description

• We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee our financial operations and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of all financial reporting. This is a key leadership role responsible for managing accounting processes, budgeting, internal controls, and financial analysis to support strategic business decisions.
• Ideal candidates will have a strong background in financial management, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to lead a high-performing finance team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and tax compliance.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting process in coordination with departmental heads.
• Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate and manage audits, liaising with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed.
• Supervise and mentor finance team members to promote professional growth and team efficiency.
• Support the CFO in strategic financial planning, investment analysis, and cost control initiatives.
• Oversee tax planning, cash flow, and treasury management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree or MBA is an advantage).
• Professional certification required: CPA, ACCA, CMA or equivalent.
• 7–10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of IFRS/GAAP and financial regulatory requirements.
• Proficient in financial management systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving ability.
