    Group Chief Financial Officer

    Salary Range: 1,000,000 - 1,500,000

    The Group Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for overseeing the financial management and strategy of the multi-industry group, Mshel Homes, Mshel Construction, Mshel Print, Mshel Information Technology, Mshel Blocks and Machinery, and Lisa Suites. The CFO will play a key role in guiding the financial direction of the group, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and driving financial performance across all business units.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies that align with the group's vision and support the growth and profitability of each distinct business unit.
    2. Act as a strategic partner to the CEOs of each subsidiary and the Group CEO, providing financial insights to support business decisions, new market entry, and capital allocation.
    3. Lead the evaluation of new business opportunities, joint ventures, and major contracts across the group, ensuring financial viability and risk mitigation.
    4. Drive long-term value creation by analyzing portfolio performance, identifying synergies between business units, and recommending divestitures or expansions.
    5. Oversee the integrated financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for all six business units, consolidating them into a cohesive group-wide financial plan.
    6. Implement robust mechanisms to monitor financial performance, analyze variances against budget, and provide actionable insights to senior management to support operational decision-making.
    7. Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) tailored to each sector.
    8. Lead the capital expenditure (CAPEX) approval process, ensuring rigorous financial analysis and alignment with strategic goals.
    9. Manage the group’s consolidated cash flow, optimizing liquidity across diverse entities with varying cash conversion cycles.
    10. Oversee investment activities, banking relationships, and financing arrangements to support the group’s growth and operational needs.
    11. Implement a comprehensive risk management framework, including foreign exchange risk, interest rate risk, and credit risk management.
    12. Ensure adequate insurance coverage and risk mitigation strategies are in place across all sectors, particularly for construction and hospitality liabilities.
    13. Lead the preparation of accurate, timely, and transparent consolidated financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
    14. Ensure full compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and statutory requirements across all jurisdictions in which the group operates.
    15. Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities to fulfill all financial reporting and audit requirements.
    16. Maintain and enhance a robust system of internal controls to safeguard group assets and ensure the integrity of financial information across all subsidiaries.
    17. Evaluate, recommend, and implement financial technology solutions and ERP systems to improve efficiency, accuracy, and real-time reporting across the diverse business units.
    18. Partner with operational leaders to analyze business performance, identify cost efficiencies, and improve profitability in areas such as construction project costing, hotel operations, and manufacturing overheads.
    19. Lead, monitor, and develop the finance team across the group, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and commercial curiosity.
    20. Provide career development opportunities to enhance financial capabilities and build a robust succession pipeline within the group.
    21. Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing among finance professionals across the different subsidiaries.
