    Employee Relations Officer - Records & Services

    Job Description

    This job role ensures the appropriate, comprehensive, accurate, and up-to-date maintenance of the organization's employee records [electronic and hard copies. 

    Job Requirements

    1. A Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences, Arts, Humanities, or any related discipline. 
    2. Membership of the Nigerian Institute of Personnel Management is an added advantage. 
    3. At least 2+ years’ experience in clerical and/or administrative duties.

    Technical competencies

    1. Proven experience in filing and record-keeping management in a reputable company 
    2. Proven experience in database application systems 
    3. Good coordination and administrative skills 
    4. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word

    Behavioral competencies

    1. Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines. 
    2. Good communication skills 
    3. Excellent interpersonal skills. 
    4. Able to manage sensitive and confidential information. 
    5. People-person and a team player. 

    Job Responsibility

    1. Maintenance and update of employee records [ERP, HR Dashboard, hard copy files]. 
    2. Maintains all physical records system.
    3. Administration of the physical filing room and movement of files.
    4. Ensures proper documentation of recruits. 
    5. Responds to employee requests, information updates, and issuance of letters, related to employee matters.
    6. Response to external reference checks.
    7. Carry out reference and background checks for present and past employees.
    8. Compliance with Quality Management, and Occupational Health & Safety requirements and Proto-cols
    9. Prepares periodic and ad-hoc reports to relevant stakeholders.
    10. Perform any other duty as requested by Head Employee Relations.
