We are seeking a proactive and experienced Business Development Officer to join our team in Abuja. The successful candidate will support the company’s expansion efforts by identifying market opportunities, fostering government and stakeholder relationships, and contributing to strategic development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Support market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities
Assist in the preparation of proposals, reports, and presentations
Liaise with local government departments and partners
Participate in project coordination and client communication
Represent the company in relevant business and networking events
Support marketing and promotional activities in line with company goals
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of professional experience, preferably in business development or marketing
Experience working with government departments or public sector stakeholders is highly preferred
Prior work experience in a foreign-invested or multinational company is an advantage
Fluency in two or more of Nigeria’s major local languages (e.g., Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo) is a strong asset
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
Willingness to travel within Nigeria as needed
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT
Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Marketing, Business, or related fields
