    Business Development Executive – Oil & Gas (EPCIM)

    Job Summary

    • The Business Development Executive will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and securing business opportunities within the Oil & Gas sector, particularly in EPCIM (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation & Maintenance) projects.
    • The role requires strong industry knowledge, technical sales capability, and an established network within the sector.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Oil & Gas EPCIM space
    • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve revenue targets
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and industry partners
    • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure
    • Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals aligned with client needs
    • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments
    • Collaborate with engineering and project teams to align client requirements with service delivery
    • Participate in industry events, networking forums, and client meetings
    • Maintain an updated pipeline of prospects and provide regular sales reports

    Performance Indicators (KPIs)

    • Number of new contracts secured
    • Revenue generated from EPCIM projects
    • Conversion rate from leads to deals
    • Client acquisition and retention rate
    • Value of sales pipeline

    Key Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
    • Minimum of 3–7 years’ experience in Business Development or Technical Sales within Oil & Gas (EPCIM preferred)
    • Strong understanding of Oil & Gas operations, contracts, and project lifecycle
    • Proven track record of winning contracts and meeting revenue targets
    • Established network within the Nigerian Oil & Gas industry (IOC/NOC/Service Companies)
    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
