Job Description

• We are looking for a qualified and passionate Biology Teacher to join our academic team.
• The teacher will help students understand biology topics and prepare them for internal and external exams.

Responsibilities

• Teach biology topics
• Prepare and deliver clear and engaging lessons
• Organise classwork, assignments, tests, and practical activities
• Guide students during science practicals and projects
• Check and record student progress and give feedback
• Help students prepare for exams like WAEC, NECO, or IGCSE (if applicable)
• Work with other teachers and attend staff meetings when required

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Science Education, or a related field
• TRCN certification or proof of registration is an advantage
• At least 2 years of teaching experience at the secondary school level
• Experience with external exam preparation is an added advantage

Other Requirements:

• Must be passionate about teaching and helping students succeed
• Must be available to resume at the start of the new academic term
• Must be willing to follow school policies and contribute to student formation.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of biology and how to teach it
• Good classroom management
• Clear communication and explanation skills
• Ability to make lessons interesting and practical
• Ability to use teaching aids and basic technology.
