    Senior Legal Manager – Financial Litigation & Regulatory Disputes

    Role Purpose

    • The Senior Legal Manager – Financial Litigation & Regulatory Disputes will lead PalmPay's litigation, regulatory investigation and complex dispute portfolio across Africa. 
    • This role is responsible for litigation strategy, financial crime recovery, court proceedings, regulatory engagement, external counsel management, and executive legal advisory. 
    • The successful candidate must be an experienced financial litigation lawyer capable of independently leading high-value, high-profile disputes while protecting the Company's commercial, regulatory and reputational interests.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop litigation strategy from pre-action assessment through judgment, appeal, settlement, and enforcement.
    • Lead banking, fintech, commercial, regulatory, and financial crime litigation.
    • Manage complex fraud, unauthorized transactions, chargeback, and asset recovery matters.
    • Lead responses to injunctions, garnishee orders, subpoenas, freezing orders and preservation orders.
    • Review and challenge defective court orders where legally appropriate.
    • Represent the company before regulators, including CBN, EFCC, NFIU, FCCPC and law-enforcement agencies.
    • Coordinate internal investigations involving fraud, AML, sanctions and financial crime.
    • Manage external law firms, litigation budgets and legal strategy across jurisdictions.
    • Advise executive management on legal risk, crisis response and sensitive matters.
    • Establish litigation governance, reporting, KPIs and continuous improvement.

    Required Qualifications

    • LL.B and admission to practice in Nigeria. LL.M preferred.
    • Minimum 10 years post-qualification experience.
    • At least 5 years leading litigation for banks, fintechs or regulated financial institutions.
    • Extensive commercial litigation, banking litigation and regulatory enforcement experience.
    • Experience drafting pleadings, affidavits, witness statements and legal submissions.
    • Strong courtroom strategy, negotiation and advocacy skills.
    • Experience managing high-value disputes (preferably NGN 1 billion+).
    • Experience supervising external counsel across multiple jurisdictions.

    In-Shop Sales Agents

    About the Role

    • Flexi Microfinance Bank is expanding its Mobile Installment product nationwide and seeking enthusiastic, customer-focused Sales Agents to join our team. 
    • In this role, you will be stationed at designated 3C HUB retail outlets, engaging walk-in customers, promoting our phone financing solution, and guiding them through the onboarding and application process.
    • This role requires strong communication skills, persuasive selling ability, and a passion for helping customers access mobile devices through flexible payment plans.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Actively approach and engage walk-in customers at 3C HUB retail phone locations to promote Flexi MFB’s mobile installment financing product.
    • Explain product features, payment plans, eligibility criteria, and financing terms in a clear and professional manner.
    • Assist customers with onboarding, application submission, and required documentation.
    • Provide accurate information, answer customer inquiries, and address concerns to ensure a seamless experience.
    • Work closely with store staff and Flexi MFB operations teams to ensure efficient loan processing and approvals.
    • Track daily leads, applications, conversions, and other assigned sales metrics.
    • Follow up with pending customers to ensure completion of applications and final approvals.
    • Ensure compliance with Flexi MFB sales guidelines, customer verification processes, and KYC requirements.
    • Represent the Flexi MFB brand professionally while maintaining strong customer satisfaction and service standards.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of OND, NCE, or equivalent qualification.
    • Prior experience in sales, field marketing, retail banking, or telecom product sales is an added advantage.
    • Strong communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment with daily customer interaction.
    • Basic understanding of consumer lending and mobile phone markets (preferred, but not required).
    • Computer literacy and ability to use smartphones or digital onboarding tools effectively.
    • Result-driven mindset with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
