Associate Director of International Expansion (Rest of World)
We’re currently looking for an autonomous business leader who will help us identify, assess and implement an international expansion strategy for Reliance Health.
This role will be responsible for executing our international expansion playbook, engaging with key stakeholders in target markets, assessing local regulations, and identifying operational requirements for market entry.
This role is remote within Nigeria.
Analyze and identify health insurance across Africa and other emerging markets.
Understand the different regulations and the requirements for a new player to enter such markets.
Segment and prioritize international expansion options for Reliance Health.
Executing the international expansion playbook of Reliance Health.
Build the right network in the different interesting countries (hiring candidates, advisors, supporters, etc.)
Coordinate the launch of Reliance Health’s business in identified new countries.
Requirements
5+ years of experience working in international or cross-border roles, preferably within emerging markets, with transferable skills suited for driving international expansion.
Strong network of business executive, regulators and startup founders across multiple emerging markets.
Autonomous thinking and problem-solving aptitude.
Hands-on approach and willingness to build from 0 to 1.
Excellent communication, leadership and organizational skills.
Experience in insurance / healthcare is a plus but not compulsory.
