    Tax Compliance and Audit Manager

    The Role
    The successful candidate reports to the Tax Manager and will be responsible for the following:
    - Carry out the review of all tax returns - WHT, VAT, Excise duties, PAYE etc.
    - Carry out periodic review and reconciliation of financial results/general ledgers to tax returns.
    - Monitor and implement the Company's Tax Control Framework.
    - Resolute on the current/outstanding tax audit issues and assessments.

    Requirements
    The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:
    - Should have a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of Second Class Honours (Lower Division) or Higher National Diploma with Upper Credit in any of the following areas:
    - Should have a minimum of two (2) years post-graduate experience as an Accountant or Tax Officer with a reputable company.
    - Should provide evidence of participation in the National youth Service Corps NYSC) scheme or exemption.
    - Should not be older than 40 years as at January 1, 2013
    - Should be a team player.
    - Should have a 'can do' attitude to work and work with minimum supervision.
    - Should be able to communicate in English language fluently (written and oral) and have the ability to negotiate.
    - Should be open to learning and development on tax related matters.
    - Must be able to work with computer systems (Microsoft Office SUite).
    - Should be willing to work in any of the cities/towns where we have operations in Nigeria.
