Introduction

The Civil Society Scaling-Up Nutrition in Nigeria (CS-SUNN) is a non-governmental, non-profit making alliance, made up of organizations with a shared vision to transform Nigeria into a country where every citizen has food and is nutrition secured. CS-SUNN pursues this lofty goal by engaging government and non-state actors to raise awareness, sustain commitment, and actions to effectively tackle under-nutrition in Nigeria. 

CS-SUNN invites qualified and reputable suppliers to submit quotations for the supply and delivery of a 40kVA Perkins diesel soundproof generator.

Scope of Supply

The supplier shall provide:

• One (1) unit of 40kVA Perkins diesel generator (soundproof type)
• Delivery to CS-SUNN’s office at Plot 203, Cadastral Zone B02, Off Oladipo Diya Way, Durumi II, Abuja.
• Installation and commissioning 
• User manuals and documentation
• After-sales support and warranty

Technical Specifications

The generator must meet or exceed the following minimum requirements:

• Brand/Engine: Perkins (UK or equivalent approved brand)
• Rated Power: 40kVA standby / approx. 36kVA prime (GRUPEL)
• Fuel Type: Diesel
• Configuration: Soundproof (silent canopy)
• Phase: Three-phase
• Frequency: 50Hz
• Voltage: 220/380V or 230/400V
• Engine Type: 4-cylinder, water-cooled, turbocharged
• Alternator: Stamford / Leroy Somer / equivalent (brushless) (Shenzhen Genor Power Equipment Co., Ltd.)
• Control Panel: Automatic control module (e.g., Deep Sea/Smartgen)
• Starting System: Electric start (24V DC)
• Fuel Tank Capacity: Minimum 50 litres or above 
• Enclosure: Weatherproof, sound-attenuated canopy
• Noise Level: Low noise operation suitable for commercial use
• Protection Features:
  • Overload protection
  • Low oil pressure shutdown
  • High temperature shutdown
  • Voltage regulation (AVR system)

Quotation should include:

Anti-Sexual Exploitation and Abuse

CS-SUNN has a zero tolerance for sexual exploitation and sexual abuse in all ramifications. This is considered gross misconduct and any form of valuation is tantamount to immediate termination of the contract. ‘Sexual abuse means the actual or threatened physical intrusion of a sexual nature, whether by force or under unequal or coercive conditions.
