    Job description
    This job is accountable for managing the Pre-Sales, Solution Architect and Bid Management teams effectively.

    Manage Pre-Sales Team

    • Manage the process of conception of solutions tailored to meet client needs.
    • Ensure solutions are adding value and increasing profits of both BCX and client.
    • Act as a thought leader, and conceptualise solutions at a higher level where required. Lead team in SWOT (Strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats) analysis.
    • Proactively engage with new clients to sell solutions, as well as engage existing clients to proactively recommend solutions linked to client strategy and business plans.
    • Ensure that opportunities identified by clients are turned into solutions and are implemented effectively to agreed timelines and budget. Manage Engagement with Technology Services Group (TSG)
    • Manage the engagement between Pre-Sales team and TSG technicians to ensure that Pre-Sales team is able to source viable technical solutions for clients’ needs. Bid Management
    • Oversee the bid management process.
    • Act as the escalation point to ensure that timelines for delivery are met and SLA’s are adhered to. Contribute to OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) Relationship Building
    • Contribute to the OEM Partnership strategy for the business and ensure that BCX is on the preferred supplier list
    • Identify new partners – understand partner incentive programs, roadmaps and products to ensure that BCX maximises OEM partnership relationships.
    • Joint account planning and client engagement with key Technology Vendors/OEMsLine management responsibility
    • People development, performance management, career and succession planningEnsure the team structure is “fit for growth” to deliver the Business requirements.

    Manage Solutions Architect function for entire West African Business

    External
    Company is in growth phase and faces competition from other well established providers in the market. Complexities around infrastructures and legislations governing infrastructure and technologies. Examples of this would be sporadic power outages, periodic connectivity issues, local legaslative limitations on introduction and enhancement of technologies
