    Project / Construction Manager

    Job Brief  

    • We are looking for a reliable construction manager to plan construction projects and oversee their progress along the way in a timely & cost-effective manner. You will be responsible for budgeting, organization, implementation and scheduling of projects.


    • Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion
    • Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
    • Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
    • Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
    • Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory
    • Meet contractual conditions of performance
    • Review the work progress on daily basis
    • Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status
    • Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
    • Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses
    • Analyze, manage and mitigate risks
    • Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques


    • Proven working experience in construction management
    • Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
    • Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
    • Understanding of all facets of the construction process
    • Familiarity with construction management software packages
    • Ability to plan and see the “big picture”
    • Competent in conflict and crisis management
    • Leadership and human resources management skills
    • Excellent time and project management skills
    • BSc degree in Construction, Project Management, Architecture, Engineering or related field.

    Other Requirements:

    • Minimum of 6 years cognate experience.
    • Work with minimum supervision
    • Good communication skills, for both clients and work colleagues.

    • Plan, direct, and coordinate the transportation operations within an organization or the activities of organizations that provide transportation services.

    Job Duties and Tasks

    • Direct activities related to dispatching, routing, and tracking transportation vehicles
    • Plan, organize and manage the work of subordinate staff to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with organizational requirements.
    • Direct investigations to verify and resolve customer or client’s complaints.
    • Collaborate with other managers and staff members in order to formulate and implement policies, procedures, goals, and objectives of the department.
    • Monitor operations to ensure that staff members comply with administrative policies and procedures, safety rules, union contracts, and government regulations.
    • Develop criteria, application instructions, procedural manuals, and contracts for all transportation programs.
    • Monitor spending to ensure that expenses are consistent with approved budgets.
    • Direct activities of staff performing repairs and maintenance to vehicles.
    • Conduct investigations in cooperation with relevant agencies to determine causes of transportation accidents and to improve safety procedures.
    • Analyze expenditures and other financial information in order to develop plans, policies, and budgets for increasing profits and improving services.
    • Negotiate and authorize contracts with equipment and materials suppliers, and monitor contract fulfillment.
    • Set operations policies and standards, including determination of safety procedures for the handling of goods and vehicles.
    • Direct procurement processes, including equipment research and testing, vendor contracts, and requisitions approval.
    • Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

    Job Brief

    • We are looking for a Driver to join our pool drivers to facilitate the operations of our business. His responsibilities include arranging regular cleaning and maintenance services for the vehicle, planning each route based on road and traffic conditions.
    • To be considered for this role, you should have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record with no traffic violations.

    Job Description

    • Maintaining the vehicle safe and clean
    • Using navigation apps to determine the best route
    • Must drive carefully and decently on the road and obey all traffic signs
    • Ensure all vehicles attached to you are properly washed first thing daily
    • Check the Engine Oil, Brake Oil, Water and Tyres first thing daily
    • Check the fuel level first thing daily. Make use of a log book to record speedometer/fuel level before daily purchase of fuel
    • Ensure all vehicle particulars such as insurance, licence, etc are in good condition.
    • Monitor and ensure the documents are renewed before expiry date
    • Ensure a fire extinguisher is present in the vehicle
    • Could be called upon to drive a vehicle within or outside Lagos with a short notice.

    Key Performance Indicators

    • Keeping attached vehicle clean always
    • Must keep a detailed log book on vehicle
    • Must submit log book for review every month
    • Will be held responsible if stopped by traffic wardens for failure to produce vehicle particulars or documents.
    • Only allowed to stop at approved destinations when travelling outside Lagos. Must call management if there is cause to stop at unapproved destinations
    • Must be able to drive daily / monthly without minor/major damages on the vehicle.
