    Accountant

    Job Overview:

    We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with group accounting experience to join our finance team at Proforce Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial accounts and ensuring accuracy and compliance across multiple entities within the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in group accounting practices, financial reporting, and an ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Prepare, analyze, and consolidate financial statements for multiple group entities in compliance with local and international accounting standards.
    • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results, budgets, and forecasts.
    • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for management and stakeholders.
    • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
    • Support the annual audit process by preparing necessary documentation and liaising with external auditors.
    • Implement and maintain robust accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance operational efficiency.
    • Monitor financial performance across various business units and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and analysis activities.
    • Stay updated on financial regulations and best practices, advising management on potential impacts to the organization.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a professional accounting certification ( ICAN, ACA, ACCA, CPA) is preferred.
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on group accounting and consolidation practices.
    • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information clearly.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

    Salary Expectation : N450.000 - N600,000 MONTHLY
