    Assistant Manager, Social Media

    Working relationship

    PRIMARY OBJECTIVE

    This role will Manage Social Media engagement marketing campaigns and day-to-day online reputation of Arik Air.

    PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video and text).
    • Monitor and respond to users in a “Social” way while cultivating leads and sales.

    Senior Manager, Customer Loyalty & CRM

    Job description

    OBJECTIVE

    To lead and manage the team responsible for revamping and developing the FFP program. The candidate will be responsible for defining the operational model for the FFP scheme including but not limited to how customers “Earn and Spend” Miles. Additionally, the candidate will work with relevant teams to develop Arik’s CRM procedures to ensure customer relations.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    FFP Development and Delivery

    • Review, revamp and develop the operational blueprint for Arik’s FFP scheme.
    • Manage the development of the FFP scheme’s benefits, features and rules, and continually improve these as required.
    • Plan the integration of all departmental operations to ensure an optimal return on resources.
    • Formulate the FFP scheme’s strategic plans for the short term and long term to fit in with the overall Commercial Strategy of Arik Air.
    • Set business objectives for the program, determine departmental processes and resource application for activities, with accountability for achieving these objectives.

    Brand Manager

    PRIMARY OBJECTIVE

    This role would lead the creative development, planning and execution of all branding initiatives for the Arik brand across all the markets within the framework of an agreed strategy, meeting operational targets for Top of Mind Awareness, revenue, profitability and increased brand equity.     Associate Vice President (AVP) - Corporate Sales

    Primary Objective

    • The AVP Corporate Sales will develop the Corporate Sales Plan to achieve the related revenue target for the channel, achieving optimal results to secure corporate contracts, increasing the numbers year on year.

    Senior Manager Revenue Management

    Working Relationship
    The post holder will maintain close relationships with key stakeholders, these include: Pricing Network Planning Global Sales and Distribution Ground Operations E-Commerce Third party vendors.

    Primary Objective

    • The Senior Manager RM is responsible to achieve the maximization of the revenue and profitability of Arik by developing/implementing Revenue Management strategies in both Inventory & Distribution.
    • Manages Revenue Optimization, Revenue Integrity Units to optimize net position contribution for Arik, supporting the VP in developing the revenue strategy on all routes and markets across Arik Network.

    Inventory Management and Route Optimisation

    • Understand the implications of external market dynamics and competitor activity on the business and react accordingly with appropriate development of Revenue management strategies.

    VP Revenue Management & Pricing

    Job Description
    To head the development and implementation of revenue planning, revenue management and forecasting systems, to enable revenue generation controls and to infuse best practices in inventory management. Provides the network with competitive pricing and distribution support, to generate revenues while maximizing yields.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Monitor company and competitor Fares, Unpublished fares, seasonal trends and also to monitor filed fares in various CRS’s and on line portals.
    • Perform comprehensive evaluations and analysis across other airlines and fare proposals to be submitted to company pricing for approval
    • Maintain complete database of all market fares types and ensure transparent distribution to all involved departments.
    • Using pricing/distribution databases and systems relevant to revenue management.
    • The ability to provide innovative and creative solutions through working with internal and external partners with appropriate speed and response.
    • Work with regional sales team and sales support to improve understanding & use of business data and metrics.
    • Manage and administer the company pricing strategy, electronic and paper distribution of passenger fares and rules via all available distribution channels, including internet on a selective basis, and directly to the company’s corporate and trade customers.m
    • Understand and implement the complete tariff process and be aware of industry changes and distribution enhancements for the airline, travel agency, GDS, GNE channels.
    • Maintain and develop a strong understanding and control of our fares, while filing public and private fares in ATPCO database for global distribution.
    • Monitor and resolve all fares/tax related issues with CRS and global GDS systems.
    • Conduct random fare audits by checking ticketed data with fare-circulars or as per IATA published fares, and in case of discrepancies, instruct Accounts to raise ADMs as required.
    • Oversee the pricing of airline documents at correct applicable rates in accordance with governing multilateral and specific prorate agreements.

    Required Skills & Qualifications

    • University graduate
    • Minimum 5 years required in the airline industry with qualification in tariff and ticketing disciplines
    • 2-3 years data and business analysis & report production, ideally in commercial and sales environment.
    • Good knowledge of the African market and the West Africa region
    • Expert level proficiency in MS Office applications (word, outlook, express, excel, project, power point etc)
    • Knowledge of the functionalities of the GDSs, CRS, CRM, Revenue Reporting, BIDT, MIDT, PROS etc would be an advantage
    • Advanced level Fares and Ticketing courses from Airlines/IATA.

    • Implement and deliver the Corporate Sales strategy and plan to achieve the related revenue target for the airline in Nigeria and the network territories Arik flies, as well as achieve optimal results in securing corporate contacts and continuously increasing both corporate account base and corporate revenue year on year.

    Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities

    • Implement sales and market strategies to increase existing business, develop new accounts.
    • Achieve and exceed the set revenue targets for each financial year by sourcing for new business, as well as managing existing business in order to increase revenue.
    • Set up sales call plans, reporting mechanisms and ensure that a weekly sales pipeline is developed, managing overall relationships for assigned territory.

    Required Skills & Qualifications

    • A minimum of a University Degree. A higher degree is desirable.

    Key Responsibilities of the Job (KRA)
    You will work closely with the VP Marketing / Sales and will be responsible  for the following:

    • Develop and implement the global strategy for the development and management of the online business both brand and e-commerce.

    Marketing:

    Logistics:

    • Manage relationship with respective agencies to ensure rates and services are competitive.

    Customer Service:

    Manager - Online & Interline Pricing

    Job Description

    • Online & Interline Pricing is a unit under the Revenue Management & Pricing division under the Commercial department.

    The Role

    • The Manager - Online & Interline Pricing works within the Revenue Management & Pricing department working for network wide pricing initiatives.
    • This role is responsible for the effective interface among Revenue Management, Network Planning and Network Sales with regards to new destinations and structural schedule/capacity changes, fare filing process and network optimization of traffic flows in order to maximize airline revenue.
    • The Manager - Online & Interline Pricing is responsible for offline pricing, implementing systems and processes to monitor offline revenue and system fares, as well as Interline/SPA and Code Share Pricing.

    Other Objectives

    • The Manager - Online & Interline pricing is responsible for pricing and the management of the Revenue Management Pricing functions and will be working with the RM Management team to provide the leadership and change management necessary to realise Arik Air’s budget objective. An added necessity is to play a key role in the relationship between Sales and Revenue Management.
    • The Manager - Online & Interline pricing will ensure a consistent business approach across all markets while taking into consideration individual market specifics, and will implement processes to ensure competitive pricing with the necessary time-to-market.
    • She/he will work on cross functional integration of revenue management and pricing functions and will ensure key process interface with other head-office and outstation commercial departments are well-defined, consistent and support efficient and effective collaboration and decision making.
    • The Manager - Online & Interline pricing must have a solid understanding of commercial processes required by an international network carrier and has strong qualitative and quantitative skills. Excellent management skills and communications skills are essential.

    Requirements
    The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

    • Education to degree level.
    • 7 years of experience in an analytical position, 3 years of which in Pricing preferably from a network airline.
    • Previous experience in inside sales, network planning, corporate/agency contracts, capacity allocation, O&D Revenue Management system, pricing or reservation control.
    • Good attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
    • Knowledge of databases, SQL or other reporting/data extraction.
