Support the Head of Programs in the development and implementation of program strategies and annual work plans.
Coordinate the implementation of assigned programs and projects, ensuring activities are delivered effectively and in line with organizational priorities.
Contribute to the design and improvement of programs through research, data analysis, and the application of best practices in the development sector.
Monitor program activities and support the tracking of progress against defined indicators, timelines, and deliverables.
Identify potential programmatic risks and propose practical solutions to strengthen program effectiveness and sustainability.
Collaborate with internal teams, including Communications and Monitoring & Evaluation, to ensure program visibility, effective documentation, and impact reporting.
Support the development of concept notes, program proposals, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Represent the organization in meetings, stakeholder engagements, and collaborative initiatives where required.
Provide coordination and guidance on program activities to ensure alignment across projects and teams.
Perform other related duties that support the effective delivery of the organization’s programs.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Public Policy, Project Management, International Relations, or a related field.
3-6 years of relevant experience in program management, coordination, or implementation within a nonprofit, development, or social impact organization.
Strong understanding of program strategy, project management principles, monitoring and evaluation, and results-based programming.
Experience supporting program design, strategic planning, and program reporting processes.
Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal teams, partners, and external stakeholders.
A proactive mindset, strong problem-solving ability, and a demonstrated commitment to social impact and mission-driven work.
