• Ashipa Electric is looking for an electrical engineer to join our organization for a One-year renewable contract.
• As an electrical engineer, you will apply your knowledge of industrial, commercial, and residential electrical system design requirements, and project management skills to execute projects and help grow the business by developing strong relationships with our clients.

Electrical Engineer

• As the electrical engineer, you will coordinate electrical engineering efforts from project initiation, through construction, and commissioning.

Tasks Include:

• Design commercial and residential lighting systems, both interior and exterior, and street lights.
• Design and retrofit 22kV, 11kV, 415V, and 230V electrical systems
• Have detailed knowledge of IEC and other industry standards
• Evaluate client requirements and author clarifications and exceptions to RFPs, project execution plans, electrical scopes of work, and design basis documents.
• Preparation of electrical studies including the following: electrical system load studies, short-circuit analysis, relay coordination, arc flash studies, motor starting system dynamics, harmonics analysis, ground fault analysis, and other calculations as required.
• Have detailed knowledge of SKM or ETAP electrical system modeling software packages.
• Join Project Engineers and Master Electricians for on-site surveys to begin value-engineering
• Create designs alongside industry partners to stay ahead as technologies rapidly develop
• Design protection and relaying systems for PV and energy storage systems
• Perform electrical calculations associated with the design of DC, AC, and MV electrical systems
• Help develop and refine electrical department procedures and specifications.

Requirements
