    Sales Manager, Health

    Job Description:

    • The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing the sales team, and driving revenue growth.
    • This role will work closely with other departments, such as marketing and product management, to ensure alignment and effectiveness in achieving company goals.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve or exceed annual revenue targets.
    • Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
    • Set individual and team sales goals, monitor performance, and provide coaching and feedback to optimize results.
    • Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and make data-driven decisions.
    • Collaborate with marketing to develop and execute lead generation and customer acquisition strategies.

    • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a [relevant industry/sector].

    Senior Backend Engineer

    Job description

    • We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to lead the design, development, and optimization of our backend systems. In this senior role, you will mentor junior engineers, guide architectural decisions, and ensure the reliability and scalability of our health tech platform. Your expertise will drive innovation and help mDoc deliver impactful solutions for underserved communities.

    Key Responsibilities (Additional/Enhanced)

    Technical Leadership

    • Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable backend systems and APIs.
    • Serve as a technical expert, providing guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and peers.
    • Drive technical discussions and decisions to ensure alignment with mDoc's goals and priorities.

    Strategic Collaboration

    • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify technical requirements and translate business needs into scalable backend solutions.
    • Influence and contribute to the long-term vision for mDoc’s technology stack and backend systems.

    System Optimization & Scalability

    • Proactively identify opportunities to improve system performance and scalability to support a rapidly growing user base.
    • Design and implement monitoring tools to ensure the stability, reliability, and security of backend services.

    Innovation & Continuous Improvement

    • Explore and implement new technologies and frameworks to enhance backend capabilities.
    • Lead initiatives to improve code quality, development processes, and team productivity.

    Security & Compliance Leadership

    • Establish and enforce best practices for backend security and compliance, ensuring adherence to industry standards (e.g., HIPAA).
    • Conduct regular audits and implement robust measures to secure sensitive healthcare data.

    Team and Workflow Management

    • Oversee version control processes using Bitbucket and manage Agile workflows with Jira.
    • Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and manage deployment processes on CCP.

    Required Skills & Qualifications (Updated)

    • 5–7+ years of professional experience in backend development with a proven track record of designing and scaling complex systems.
    • Advanced expertise in server-side programming languages such as Python, Java, Node.js, or Go.
    • Deep knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) and data modeling.
    • Extensive experience building and maintaining APIs and microservices in production environments.
    • Proficiency in working with cloud platforms, especially CCP, and containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes.
    • Strong experience with Agile development processes, using Bitbucket and Jira to manage workflows.
    • Proven ability to mentor team members and lead technical projects or initiatives.
