    Logistics and Procurement Officer

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Logistics & Procurement Officer to manage sourcing, procurement, inventory control, and logistics operations within our plastic manufacturing facility.
    • The ideal candidate will ensure cost-effective purchasing of raw materials and spare parts while coordinating efficient distribution of finished products, in line with production and business objectives.

    Key Responsibilities
    Strategic Procurement:
    Sourcing & Vendor Management:

    • Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for raw materials and machinery spare parts
    • Maintain and regularly update a database of reliable and approved vendors.

    Negotiation:

    • Negotiate competitive pricing, delivery timelines, and favorable payment terms without compromising material quality

    Inventory Control:

    • Monitor and manage stock levels of raw materials to prevent production downtime due to stock-outs
    • Optimize inventory levels to avoid excessive capital tie-up

    Quality Assurance:

    • Collaborate closely with the Production Department to ensure all incoming materials meet required technical and quality specifications.

    Logistics & Distribution:
    Fleet Coordination:

    • Manage dispatch and transportation of finished goods (containers, pallets, or bulk orders) to distributors and end-users

    Route Optimization:

    • Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure cost efficiency and timely deliveries

    Documentation:

    • Prepare and manage all logistics and shipping documentation, including:
      • Waybills
      • Goods Received Notes (GRN)
      • Customs documentation for imported raw materials and equipment

    Warehouse Oversight:

    • Supervise organized storage of raw materials and finished plastic products
    • Ensure strict adherence to First-In, First-Out (FIFO) inventory movement.

    Reporting & Compliance:

    • Track, analyze, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as procurement costs, supplier lead times, and delivery performance
    • Ensure all procurement and logistics activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to the plastics manufacturing industry.

    Requirements & Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline
    • Minimum of 5 years experience in procurement and logistics roles
    • Prior experience within a manufacturing or chemical/plastics environment is highly preferred
    • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Tally, Microsoft Dynamics)
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

    Industry Knowledge:

    • Solid understanding of the plastics industry, including resin price trends and global shipping logistics.

    Soft Skills:

    • Exceptional negotiation and vendor management skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

    HSE Officer

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Officer to oversee and enforce health, safety, and environmental standards within our plastic manufacturing facility.
    • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, promoting a strong safety culture, and minimizing workplace risks.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct risk assessment and develops HSE gap analysis for the company.
    • Daily check on cleaning of environment.
    • Ensure that HSE signage is effectively displayed as a guide to both staff and visitors.
    • Ensure safety meetings and follows-up on outstanding, safety issues as necessary.
    • Ensure compliance with the established hygiene and sanitation requirements throughout the factory daily weekly inspection and monitory.
    • Prepare and issues HSE information/guideline to internal stakeholders as necessary.Identify potential hazards, risks and dangers.
    • Investigate incidents.
    • Make recommendations regarding health and safety.
    • Ensure staff participation in quarterly health safety and environmental training program.

    Requirements & Qualifications

    • Minimum of 2–3 years experience in an HSE role within a manufacturing or industrial environment (plastic manufacturing experience is an advantage)
    • Degree or HND in Environmental Science, Engineering, Industrial Safety, or related field
    • Professional HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, ISPON, IOSH) are highly desirable
    • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, risk assessment, and incident investigation
    • Excellent communication and training skills
    • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
    • Ability to work independently and enforce safety standards confidently.
