    HSE Officer

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Officer to oversee and enforce health, safety, and environmental standards within our plastic manufacturing facility.
    • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, promoting a strong safety culture, and minimizing workplace risks.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct risk assessment and develops HSE gap analysis for the company.
    • Daily check on cleaning of environment.
    • Ensure that HSE signage is effectively displayed as a guide to both staff and visitors.
    • Ensure safety meetings and follows-up on outstanding, safety issues as necessary.
    • Ensure compliance with the established hygiene and sanitation requirements throughout the factory daily weekly inspection and monitory.
    • Prepare and issues HSE information/guideline to internal stakeholders as necessary.Identify potential hazards, risks and dangers.
    • Investigate incidents.
    • Make recommendations regarding health and safety.
    • Ensure staff participation in quarterly health safety and environmental training program.

    Requirements & Qualifications

    • Minimum of 2–3 years experience in an HSE role within a manufacturing or industrial environment (plastic manufacturing experience is an advantage)
    • Degree or HND in Environmental Science, Engineering, Industrial Safety, or related field
    • Professional HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, ISPON, IOSH) are highly desirable
    • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, risk assessment, and incident investigation
    • Excellent communication and training skills
    • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
    • Ability to work independently and enforce safety standards confidently.
