    Head, Credit Risk Management

    Job Summary

    • The Head, Credit Risk Management will develop and implement policies and procedures that reduce credit risk in the organization.
    • He / she leads / manages initiatives and the development of strategies, methodologies and associated models / processes for measurement of Credit Portfolio Management.

    Major Duties

    • Plan, design and implement an overall risk management process for the organization.
    • Ensure that sound credit risk measurement and monitoring frameworks are developed and implemented throughout the group in a standardized manner.
    • Manage the Company's Enterprise Risk Management Framework as well as Credit Policy Guidelines
    • Improve and optimize credit approval, recovery, and collection processes as well as operational efficiencies.
    • Coach, supervise, and mentor analysts, collections, recovery, and underwriting officers for effective, efficient, and optimal performances.
    • Enhance and review the company's Credit Policies and Standards to reflect the best practice and regulate the risk assets of the group as directed by the Board
    • Develop, manage and optimize the Credit Reporting and Monitoring framework that meets all necessary requirements of both external and internal stakeholders and ensures timely and accurate delivery of all reports.

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess at least a Master's Degree qualification in Accounting, Finance or a relevant field.
    • 10-15 years’ work experience in credit risk management
    • Candidate must possess relevant training and certificates from recognized bodies, professional memberships.

    Salary
    N15,000,000 - N20,000,000 annually.

    Head of Lease

    Job Summary

    • The Head, Lease will oversee a variety of functional areas ranging from strategy, sales, operations, evaluation and analyses within the Lease department.
    • These will include, technology needs and control, sales process review and optimization, ensuring policy and regulatory compliance, budgeting and reporting, analyses of market and products across various lease products of the department.
    • Successful candidate will supervise professional and clerical employees within the lease department and across all company branches, including assigning and evaluating work, initiating discipline, counseling, evaluating performance, training, hiring, setting and ensuring that all targets are met, recommending termination, etc.
    • The Head of lease will carry the overall weight of the Lease Sales department target and ensure that all unit teams/members, adequately contribute to the achievement of the set target, and periodically prepare statistical and narrative reports and surveys to the management/board, in accordance to/as required by applicable policies, laws and regulations.

    Responsibilities

    • Work closely with internal teams to provide key business insights, define and implement appropriate sales, marketing, operational and business development strategies to maximize sales and profitability of the business.
    • Develop, implement, monitor and evaluate new sales ideas and strategies.
    • Keep up-to-date with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors.
    • Manage personal/departmental periodic activities to align with set goals and targets in accordance with organization policies and standards.
    • Responsible for generating lease leads and Business support loans, as well as ensuring same are efficiently and effectively consummated.
    • Work with Branch Managers to manage department performance in the respective branches by coordinating sales efforts in line with marketing strategies and providing coaching and guidance to branch team members.
    • Reviews Offer Letter templates, draft Lease Agreements and register Bills of Sale for vehicle collateral
    • Work with Head, Credit Control to minimize and manage each transaction’s risk exposure by way of; fulfilling requirements for Client home and office visits, Cheque management, Recovery, etc.
    • Generate profitable Finance Leases (Consumer, Corporate and Sale & Leaseback), Operating, Non-maintained leases, periodically.

    Qualifications / Requirements

    • Minimum of a First Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing or a related field
    • Proven experience working in a managerial level, within a leasing or a related sector. Preferably in corporate lease or general sales role
    • Post-graduate qualification(s) and professional membership will be an added advantage.
    • 7+ years of experience in Sales and business development.

    Senior Deposit Mobilization Officer (Liability Generation)

    Job Summary

    • The Senior Deposit Mobilization Executive/Officer plays a major role in continuously improving deposit mobilization and strategically creating relationships for fixed deposit customers and ensures proper and adequate inflow of liabilities in the company to ultimately increase and maintain the credit balance of the company for efficient operation.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Source appropriately priced and structured deposit liabilities for the company from retail and institutional sources.
    • Meet, maintain and exceed set targets
    • Cultivate new clientele on a regular basis.
    • Cultivate and maintain courteous and efficient relationship with clients.
    • Timely response to feedback and other customer-related issues or requests.
    • Participate in creating new and better marketing based on field experience.
    • Visit, engage prospects and maintain liability generated
    • Propose services, up-selling and cross-selling whenever possible
    • Recruit, train and build sales team across the country
    • Increase number of Treasury services taken up by Clients
    • Ensure the effective, high-quality management of Clients
    • Conduct periodic competitor analysis, reviewing product rates and requirements
    • Prepare and send periodic report to management
    • On-board and manage subordinates to maintain a consistently high number of prospects, and with a high conversion rate

    Qualifications

    • Minimum education level - First Degree in any discipline from a reputable academic institution. Post-graduate qualification(s) and professional membership will be an added advantage.
    • 5+ years of experience in sales and business development. Experience in a financial institution is an added advantage
    • Demonstrated track record of meeting / exceeding targets as an individual contributor.
    • Successful experience building a territory from little or nothing.

    Salary
    N6,000,000 - N8,000,000 / annually.

    Internal Audit Executive

    Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • To ensure Pre-audit quality assurance check of Risk Asset transaction off-line and online for completeness before disbursement.
    • Verification and review of interest payout, computation of rates in liquidations and termination of invested funds.
    • Verification of expenditures, source documents and ensuring proper approval and authorization from designated officers.
    • Effective monitoring, verification and authorization of supplies and all budget approval memos.
    • Post-transaction review of all RFS Risk Asset transactions (finance Leases both corporate and consumer Leases, personal loans, Business support loans.
    • Verification of all payments and disbursement vouchers on the RFS bank platform
    • Quarterly report on the performance status of all consummated Risk assets and report on any system inadequacy
    • Timely report on non-compliance with statutory, regulatory and internal requirements in the branch
    • Quarterly Branch report on Facility management, Audit review of processes and procedures of various departments and units in the branch.
    • Audit review of all accounting processes and procedures Receipt and payments, petty cash system, bank reconciliation.
    • Preparation of timely internal control report for the branch.
    • Preparation of timely report on post Audit review of processes and procedures of all Treasury customers with investment in the branch.
    • Any other task that may be delegated to you by your supervisor

    Qualifications / Requirements

    • B.Sc in Accounting with 2-3 years post NYSC work experience
    • Professional qualification of ACA / ACCA / CIA.

    Job Description

    • The Deposit mobilization officer is responsible for corporate liquidity, investments, and risk management related to the company's financial activities.

    Responsibilities

    • Source for deposit liabilities from individuals and corporate bodies, through the sale of specially designed investment products.
    • To continually generate a viable pipeline of prospects/potential clients within the desired target market that will ensure the achievement of the set personal and departmental targets
    • To maintain high satisfaction levels when managing Prospects and Clients through the prompt booking of transactions
    • Produce reports of daily and weekly activities.
    • Conduct surveys and provide feedback of rates of other financial institutions
    • Contribute to the development of new products and/or better marketing ideas.
    • Provides recommendation to enhance treasury policies and procedures
    • Liaises regularly with treasury management and divisions in order to understand ongoing changes in business activities and developments
    • Provides the Treasury Manager with adequate information to carry out his/her responsibilities
    • Undertakes other related tasks and duties as assigned by Treasury Manager.

    Requirements and Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Management, Finance or any related field
    • At least 3 years of experience in a bank or a finance and treasury sector as a liability generation officer
    • Experience in IT systems for automation and management of Treasury operations.
    • Advanced Excel/MS Office skills.
    • Strong analytical skills.
    • Strong organizational skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills.
    • High proficiency in the English Language (both written and spoken).
    • The candidate must reside in the above-mentioned locations.
