    Pastry Chef (Expert in Baking, Desserts & Cake Artistry)

    ​​​​​​​Job Summary

    • The Pastry Chef will be responsible for planning, preparing, and presenting high-quality baked goods, desserts, and artistic cakes that meet Eko Hotels & Suites’ culinary standards.
    • The ideal candidate must be creative, detail-oriented, and skilled in both traditional and contemporary pastry techniques.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare a wide variety of pastries, desserts, breads, and cakes in line with hotel standards.
    • Design and execute custom cakes and dessert presentations for events, banquets, and special occasions.
    • Develop new dessert recipes and improve existing offerings to enhance guest experience.
    • Ensure proper portion control, quality consistency, and attractive presentation at all times.
    • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards in compliance with HACCP regulations.
    • Supervise and train junior pastry staff and kitchen assistants where applicable.
    • Manage inventory, minimize wastage, and ensure efficient use of raw materials.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in a reputable hotel, restaurant, or bakery.
    • Strong expertise in baking, desserts, and cake artistry.
    • Knowledge of modern pastry techniques and dessert trends.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight production deadlines.
    • Good understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards.
    • Culinary certification or relevant professional qualification is an added advantage.

    Job Summary

    • The Continental Chef (Lebanese Cuisine) will be responsible for preparing authentic Lebanese and continental dishes while maintaining the highest quality and presentation standards. The role requires indepth knowledge of Middle Eastern ingredients, cooking methods, and traditional recipes.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare and present a wide range of authentic Lebanese dishes, including hot and cold mezze, grills, and traditional mains.
    • Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of all menu items.
    • Assist in menu planning and development of new Lebanese and continental dishes.
    • Maintain strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
    • Monitor kitchen operations to ensure efficient workflow and timely service.
    • Train and mentor kitchen staff on Lebanese cooking techniques and standards.

    Requirements
