    Project Architect

    Job Descriptions

    • Articulate, initiate, and develop original conceptual architectural designs in response to project briefs and company requirements.
    • Produce detailed architectural drawings, including plans, sections, elevations, and specifications,
    • across all project stages from concept to construction.
    • Prepare shop drawings and change-control drawings during construction phases, ensuring alignment with approved designs.
    • Review and validate architectural designs submitted by external consultants, verifying compliance with scope, specifications, and applicable standards.
    • Maintain and update all architectural working documents to reflect evolving site conditions and
    • approved variations. Construction Supervision & Quality Control
    • Provide day-to-day on-site supervision of all architectural aspects of construction works across company locations.
    • Ensure strict adherence by contractors to approved construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
    • Conduct quality assurance and quality control inspections on all architectural elements, identifying defects and non-conformances.
    • Supervise the testing and approval of building materials and components to confirm compliance with specified standards.
    • Prepare detailed site inspection reports, punch lists, and progress updates for management review. Project Management Support
    • Serve as the company's resident site architect for both special projects and facilities management. works.
    • Provide technical guidance on construction methods, sequencing, and best-practice execution approaches.
    • Verify that completed works conform strictly to approved-for-construction drawings prior to signing off. Carry out periodic reviews of architectural drawings and ensure timely updates as required throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Ensure that all as-built drawings for company facilities are accurately completed, filed, and maintained. Timely delivery of accurate architectural drawings and documentation at each project stage.
    • Zero tolerance for non-conforming construction works proceeding without formal resolution or approved variation.
    • Completeness and currency of as-built drawings for all company facilities.
    • Quality of site inspection reports and punch lists, measured by management and contractor feedback.
    • Compliance of completed works with approved-for-construction drawings, as verified at project sign-off.

    Requirements

    • A minimum of a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in architecture or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
    • Registration with the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON) is mandatory.
    • Membership of the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA) or an equivalent professional body is an advantage.
    • Minimum of 14 years' post-qualification work experience in an architectural or engineering consultancy or a comparable corporate environment.
    • Demonstrated experience managing the full architectural lifecycle of major construction and infrastructure projects.
    • Prior experience working within an oil and gas, energy, or large corporate multi-site environment is highly desirable.
    • Proven ability to supervise construction works and manage contractor relationships on-site. High level of professional integrity and attention to detail.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to produce clear technical reports for management audiences.
    • Self-driven and capable of managing multiple concurrent projects with minimal supervision.
    • Collaborative team player who can engage effectively with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders at all levels.

    Competencies:

    • Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD; working knowledge of additional design and BIM software platforms is an advantage.
    • Strong understanding of structural, mechanical, and electrical design interfaces and their integration with architectural works.
    • Thorough knowledge of building codes, construction standards, and quality control procedures applicable in Nigeria and relevant international frameworks.
    • Competence in the preparation and review of technical specifications, bills of quantities, and contract drawings.

    Methods Engineer – C&P

    Main Functions

    • Be in constant alignment with HSE Company rules, Procedures, Instructions and applicable legislation
    • Take the necessary measures to avert immediate threat of danger. Exercising caution as necessary to avoid danger to persons and installations or avoid pollution
    • Participate actively in HSE meetings, training sessions and drills and co-operate actively in the execution of H3SE plans.

    Responsibilities
    Support for Supply Chain tools and systems:

    • Support a functional Hotline and ensure the resolution of various problems and issues arising from the appropriation of C&P tools.
    • Create and maintain a list of contact members in the User Departments and ensure this list is updated regularly
    • Suggest and propose regular revision of user manuals, procedures and work instructions pertaining to the use of SC Tools
    • Coordinate and ensure the regular training and support for external Suppliers on the e-sourcing tool and NIPEX platforms
    • Suggest and propose the delivery of Requests for Assistance (e.g. MTKs) for incidents or challenges requiring CC SAP or other external assistance
    • Test and validate under custody of Performance & Tools Manager new solutions and upgrades of Supply Chain (SC) tools,
    • Participate in all specific actions (e.g. data cleaning) related to SC tools which can have impacts on SC processes.

    Training, appropriation and controls:

    • Suggest and prepare after SAP Lead User’s approval all requests for modifications to profiles, reference users or permissions in respect of SC Tools so as to ensure segregation of duties in SAP.
    • Coordinate and ensure the regular (re)training of users of all SC Tools and in particular, the training and induction of new users so as to ensure the optimal appropriation and use of these tools.
    • Perform regular controls to continuously improve the level of appropriation of SC tools so as to improve affiliates performance in ASAP and related audits (e.g. SOX audits).

    Front Line contact for IS systems:

    • Monitor the general evolution of new technologies and their potential for process improvements
    • Check out and prepare resolution for all queries regarding Tools within TUNC Supply Chain.

    Job Requirements:
    Accountabilities:

    • To accurately represent business requirements and the configuration of affiliates business processes in the system
    • To be responsible for quality delivery of all training and appropriation related to SC Tools
    • To act as liaison between the UNISUP Coordination, the UNISUP MM users and SC Business Process Owner
    • To be the Champion for all SC software solutions within the SC business of the affiliate including synergies with other business entity.
    • To validate the district’s position on C&P SC tools.

    Technical Skills:

    • Data Audit
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software Package
    • Proficiency in BI Reporting (Power BI)
    • Demonstrable commitment to excellence, respect for deadlines, team spirit and good communication skills
    • Result oriented.
    • Have very good notions in training techniques and a good dose of diplomacy.

    Qualifications / Experience Required

    • Minimum of a Second-Class university Degree in Engineering, Business or a Supply Chain discipline plus 3 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas Industry.
    • Very good knowledge of C&P SC tools including UNISUP, Planning tools, e-sourcing tools & NipeX, in addition to other Business & Computing tools
    • Computer literacy is mandatory and paramount on and off the job,
    • Microsoft EXCEL Proficiency is highly important and job holder must be able to write Macros.
    • Must have risk-based audit experience.
    • Must be able to perform financial and non-financial audit.
    • Must be able to facilitate LEAN Methodology
    • Must have Microsoft Power Point presentation Proficiency.
